would moving the rear UCA mounts screw things up?

one of the very few (mounting) differences between a 95 caprice rear and a g-body rear is that the UCA mounts sit forward of the diff center instead of centerline. will shortening the UCA's cause handling issues? (they are at the same angle and plane) i do plan on using johnny joints in the UCA and LCA's to eliminate the usual bind issues, if that matters.
      thanks

it shouldnt do anything noticeable. just have to start watching the pinion angle. it will change more with suspension movement
