Those of you who have installed a Big Brake Kit on rear of first gen Camaro, I have a quick few questions.

First it would seem logical that the Parking Hat Emergency Brake Lever be installed as a pull with the actuator toggle positioned underneath the axle. Could someone who has installed this with a Lokar Kit chime in on this?

Secondly I listed a picture for this question in the
"Emergency Section". What are those 4 tiny aluminum bushings for? I can't locate them anywhere in the instructions, but the kit is so well done I'm fearful I might be missing the place which they install. Any help?

I'm sure Tobin can help but it's Sunday morning.

Appreciate any help I can get.

Jon

I have the C6 Z51 kits front and rear from Kore3, and I'm doing now what this thread did with a Wilwood brake kit, and it works beautifully. I have a 12 bolt with Ford housing ends and G-Bar rear suspension.

I bought the front and intermediate stainless cables and hardware from Inlinetube.com, and used the Lokar EC-81FHT rear cable kit. The 2 clevis included in the EC-81FHT kit fit the emergency brake levers nicely. I'm using the stock foot operated emergency brake pedal. Solution was simple and mock up was a breeze. I upgraded some of the aluminum nuts in the Lokar kit to stainless ones with nylon locking, and supplied some stainless washers where the rear cable mounts to the bracket on the frame.

I'm very happy with the results.

I don't recall the bushings you mentioned, but my brake kit might be different due the Ford housing ends.
