I recently had my stock heavy duty leaf springs de-arched 1.5". Due to the age (39 years) of the leafs I had them rebuilt by Benz Spring in Portland Oregon, I also had them install factory rubber front I bushings and they only charged me a wopping $120 dollars. I also installed a heavy duty shackle kit from Enery Suspension along with ES spring pads. I installed the springs and lowered the car back down on its own weight and to my suprise the car dropped 2.5" which is what I was looking for. My next step is to install Bilstein shocks on all four corners, 2" drop springs with SC&C upper control arms and ball joints. What do you think of the new rear ride height?
