AGR steering box

I just installed my new 12:1 box on my 67 firebird. I took it for a ride and it feels like it is not power steering. the ratio feels great but it is very hard to turn. what does the allen bolt with the lock nut on top of the box adjust? I bleed the system and checked the fluid.

This is the adjustment for the lash between the sector shaft and the worm nut. This requires an inch pound torque wrench to set properly. If the box is new or rebuilt properly you shouldn't have to touch this.
