Can't be a posi, since positraction is a Chevy term and this is a Ford.

The Ford Traction Lock (posi) uses ring gear bolts with a 5/8 head on them. The bolts that are in yours have 3/4 inch heads. Most of the TLs had 4 pinion gears. The cover on the left will be bulged out to make room for the clutches, which is why they use the smaller 5/8 head on the bolts. Many of the 4X4 F150 trucks had the TL in them. Some have 28 splines and some have 31.

Here is a picture of the TL, showing it's most comon weakness. The side cover is weak and usually breaks when abused too much.
