I'm trying to locate a product I remember seeing. It connects to your automotive battery and disconnects power to the car if voltage gets to a certain point. This way you accessories cannot drain your battery to the point the car will not start.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Googling is coming up with products that plug into the cigarette lighter. I want the product that goes right on the battery.

My work car has a lot of drains and if it sits more than a couple days battery is dead to the point the power locks do not even function. I have no choice on all the electronics on the car.

Please, let me know if you know the correct name for this.

Thanks in advance!!

I have had 3 of them and they work great. Get the platinum one. It comes with a vibration sensor that doesn't allow it to be disconnected while the car is running and a remote battery connect/disconnect as well.

I actually used it in a C6 corvette that I switched the water pump to electric and hot wired the fans to run both between drag runs at the track. I have one now on a 72 z28 for theft protection and to assure a startup.

They have all worked flawlessly for going on 3 years now

Thanks dsapper.

Also, for anyone who is also in the market, I found this:

More simplistic, so that could be better or worse depending on your needs.

I actually looked at that product, but having the remote battery disconnect on your key chain was a big plus for me... like a cheap theft deterrent

One thing I will say is when its all hooked up on your battery... its ugly lol
