rear end suspension

Hello, I am ready to get my rear end set up on my 67 camaro and need advice. I have looked at several types of set ups. Very confused on whats the best one to get. I can weld so that's no problem. I love to race 1/4 and 1/8 mile tracks but would like to get in to road racing or just have a car that can handle the twistys really good. I'm installing the dse mini kits and would like to install a rear suspension at that time. Please list the different kinds of rear suspension kits there is out there in case I may have over looked something.

BTW: I have used the search engine many times, so don't go there.

I would like to hear from the guys that have used them and not just read about them.

I would look at The Jake's front an rear suspension. The rear is a torque arm an works very good for just about any kind of driving you would want to do.
I have ridden in his test car on the track an on the street, It flat works.
I have also spent my money on it for my own car. Give me a call an we can talk about different suspensions.

You mention drag racing, my first love. Torque arms are good for handling, and can drag race to, but to make a torque arm drag race, you ruin the handling. Just ask the late model F body boy's. They can put them on the bumper, but they are down right frightening to steer when set up that way.
If you want the best drag race / road race combinded suspension, you need to look at the Chris Altson G Link. All the fastest cars at the dragstrip at Run through the hills ran Triangle 4 link G Bar / Air bar combos.

The G Link has multiple adjustment to change the instant center, to make it do what you want to do. Let's put it this way, I am removing the Ladder bar suspension for my mid 9 second street racer and installing a G Link, along with a Art Morrison subframe.

If you want something different we sell 4 other rear suspension solutions including Art Morrison, DSE, Hotchkis Speedtech and our own Prodigy Bar bolt in kit built by Air Ride. And have at least one of each being installed in projects in our shop right now.
