I'm going tomorrow to get some brakes off of a 98 Camaro donor car. I am going to pull the front & back brakes. I guess I need to get the brackets off of the back setup. To do this, do I need to pull the axles out? If so, what is the process to pull the axles out of the 98? I've never done this before and any direction will help me tremendously.

Thanks in advance.

pop the differential cover, remove the small bolt that retains the cross shaft, remove the cross shaft, slide the axles in, remove the c clips, slide the axles out..
of course, you will need to get the calipers off before the axles slide out..

Just got done getting both the front and rear brakes off a 98 Camaro for $100. I had to do all the hard work in the cold & rain, but it will be worth it. I've read a lot of the threads on here about the swap but I'm sure I'll have a few question in the near future.
