I just went to install my rear shocks in my mono leaf shock plates on my 68 camaro and it looks like I will have to drill out the shock plate hole for the lower shock bolt?? It seems as if there won't be much material left after I drill 5/8 hole through the shock plate....anybody done this??

Thanks,
Brian

...Have always used the steel sleeve insert that came in the box from Bilstein... and the factory bolt size. Never drilled the holes... I always used the sleeves.

This is something you could get from Bilstein in Poway, ASI is El Cajon... or even ORW would most likely have these laying around.

Thanks Chicane..so the sleeve goes in the lower shock "eye" and then the bolt through the sleeve?
