4L70E in '64 Tempest, which factory GM dipstick tube?

Just like the title says, which factory dipstick tube will work with a 4L70E installed in a '64 Pontiac Tempest A-body? Would a later 4th-gen F-body 4L60E dipstick tube assembly be the ticket here?

I'd like to avoid using an aftermarket universal like the Lokar unit. Any help from those who have installed this trans (4L60E and 4L65E should be the same) in an early GM A-body would be greatly appreciated.

Pics of the dipstick side of my 4L70E trans that's due to arrive tomorrow, if that will help any:

Bart as you know I have installed the 4l60e from an f-body no issues. Not sure about the 4l70e being the same as the 4l60e but your trans guy should know that. Here is my build link again you can see the dip stick installed and the amount of floor that had to be deformed to clear the trans and f-body factory lines.

The fourth gen F-Body dipstick has a lot of offset. You might prefer one from an Impala SS. Use a propane torch and a pair of heat resistant gloves to tweak it if needed. And tweak it slowly. Don't bend it while installed. It will kick the crap out of the grommet.

Thanks guys, I'll look into the Impala SS dipstick and tube if that would be a better fit than the F-body setup.

From what I can see the 4L70E and 4L60E have the same dipstick tube location.
