Great build thread. I stumbled across it because I am about to cut my original 1971 chevelle sport side mirrors to put in LED lights for turn signals. I under stand first hand how a newborn can put the car on the back burner. If not for work, I'd never get on PT.com And late nights here and there on the laptop.
I will look into the acrylic stock and just cuting/sanding/polishing that to the contour and then adding LEDs into the backside of it.
Good luck on finishing the ride!

I just read through all 13 pages, great looking car, sad ending though, I was really expecting to see it complete. Good luck with the new job, baby, and hopefully we will get updates soon..
Love the color choice. Good luck with the move and everything else coming up in your life. Sure sounds like you have your plate full. Do drop in from time to time especially if you have anything to add about the build.

This car is simply incredible! The amount of subtle details have made this what is probably the finest long-roof gbody in existence anywhere! I have an '82 Malibu wagon that I am just stating to play with and can only hope that it looks 1/3 as nice as what you have created here. You should be super proud of it!

Oh man just went through all this thread between yesterday and today and I have to say this is an amazing looking car. The paint, the fabbing skills, subtle personal touches just makes this car stand out. Live the stance as well, hopefully we get some updates.

Man! I haven't seen this project in a long time!
I know how life, houses, work, seem to conspire against our hobbies, I truly hope you have had some time and space to chip away at your project.
