69 stock rear length w/ Baer discs
Hey guys, Baer rear disc 12" track series on a 69 firebird. Does anyone know if by installing these discs on the rear, would it shorten the overall rear axle length between the mounting flanges any at all? to possibly allow more room for a 18 x 9.5 rear w/ 5" backspacing? Stock is a little tight.

The only change in track width should be the difference between the thickness of the OE drum (.105") and the disc which you'll need to measure. The C5 rear discs are ~.240" thick through the hat, not sure what the Baer Track kit rotors are offf-hand though. Most discs are thicker than the drums, increasing your track width.
