The factory Goodyear tires on my 2000 WS6 finally wore out at 50,000 kilometres (30,000 miles). Soft compound and rather aggressive driving style, I guess. I'll replace them over the winter. Any recommendations for the new ones? I'm looking for maximum performance with a factory sized tire (275 R40 17) ; The car is never driven in snow, buty occasionally sees rain. I read that the BFG G-gforce KD's are no longer the hot ticket. I wondered about Kumho and Bridgstone. Any informed or experienced opinions appreciated. Thanks!

BFG KDW2 (flame looking tread) are still my favorite on street cars. They work well in the rain, have deep treads, look killer.
For a little better performance, I prefer the Nitto INVO tire. Good in the rain, but not much tread depth and they probably won't last long.

I just ordered Goodyear F1 GS-D3's in that size. :drive1:
My car is not driven as much, so treadwear is not a big concern.
In most cases, increasing treadwear will cost a little in performance.

I like Vredestein "Sessenta" tires. They are a Dutch tire. I have a Dutch wife, so I guess I am partial to Dutch stuff.
