I have done a bit of my own painting, but I am no expert. I want to make the clear coat on my BLACK Marauder look better than new. It is in good shape but has lots of wash mit marks and fine scraches in the clear. Yes Factory paint no redoes on it. What are the best was to make tha black look 10 miles deep? If only light scratches is buffing enough or should I do a light wet sand on it first? What girts and then what buffing stages? Thanks

I would try this method omitting the wetsanding and starting with the cutting cream and the black wool pad. It removes small scratches quite easily. You could also try skipping the cutting creme and see how it looks and back up to the cutting creme as necessary.

You can buy these Presta products on ebay.

Forgot to tell you to be careful with your edges. You should probably run masking tape along them until you get the hang of it if you have never done this before.
