I have a adapter, just kind of slid it on, but I have a couple of questions,
Does the adapter cancel the turn signls?

what about the horn, it looks like a one wire horn set up, but the 67/68 column has a contact style horn, I'm going to have to modify the harness,

I think Mark Steilow has the same wheel, I don't know if he has a factory column,

any insight will help, thanks Steve

charlie talked to Mark today and supposedly the canceling parts are inside the adapter, will have to check it all out,

Steve, why don't you retain your colum and just change the boss. You do retain turn signals and horn, at least I did on my second gen.
Momo in Italy have the boss/adapter. I never had working horn pad so I just rigged up the trans brake stlye horn button. Its not smooth but is functional.

It looks to me Momo makes a adapter for a 69 not a 68, so, it looks like I won't have any canceling signals, but I can modify the horn, I have retained my column, just put on the momo adapter, looks like yours, I want everything to work like stock,

I used a Momo wheel with a Momo to Grant adapter on my 2nd gen and that keeps everything functioning including the Momo horn button. Install the grant wheel adapter, then the Momo to Grant, then the wheel. It also puts the wheel in a better driving position for me since the Momo wheels aren't dished much.

I think there's a big difference in columns between yours and mine, I have a 68 column, no key, center horn button, you have a different, horn set up, one wire versus a push/contact set up, but thanks

You could talk to Frank at Prodigy about it. He sells the Momo stuff and has experience with the 1st gen columns. Perhaps he'll see this post and chime in.

If there is one, if you search MOMO site, the pre-68 adapter is discontinued, soooo, will there be a solution? I don't know, it seems all the adapters are made for the newer style columns with the key and the one wire horn, I'm sticking my tongue out!

No. He said the canceling parts are in the column, below the adapter.Sorry if I didn't explain it clearly enough.

The canceling piece is in the column, got that resolved, have the adapter on and wheel, column is in the car, I was missing a coupl of parts on the wheel side and I found them the other day, I still have to figure a way to incorporate a newer style horn button,

 The Momo horn uses two wires. One grounds to the hub adapter, the other (hot) connects to the slip ring which also actuates the canceling cam mechanism.

What parts did you buy? This thread makes me feel like singing.

The horn bone's connected to the.....
slip ring bone.

The slip ring bone's connected to the.....
hmm, hmm. La la la la la la la..hmm, hmm.
