Here's a project car taking shape at www.j-rodandcustom.com (http://www.j-rodandcustom.com/). It's running a killer set of 18" front and 19" rear Whiplashes. The wheel finish is Smoked Titanium center, and brushed and cleared outer.

Check out that hood... pretty cool eh? All done by J-Rod!

The finish on those rims is the best combo out there IMO. Is the car minitubbed? What are the front wheel specs if you don't mind me asking?

J-Rod is Jared Hancock's nickname that stuck well enough for him to use the play on words for his shop name.

Jared doesn't like to brag so let me do it for him. Some of you will recognize the attached Camaro he and I collaborated on from last year that won a Mother's Shine Award at SEMA last year and was on the cover of Chevy Rumble.

I love working with J because he is willing to fab anything I draw and always executes it perfect. If you're wondering about the masking tape on the fender, that area will be stylized functional vents based loosely on the decorative vents from a 70 and will be happening soon as will a member/vehicle intro for the car by the owner.

Thanks! Glad you're liking the wheels and the finish.

The car is mini-tubbed with a narrowed rear as well as an aftermarket front clip that allowed for the dish on the front 18x8s. I'll have to dig up the order to recall the backspacing.

If you like the wheels and the finish, you'll love them on your car!

See you there!

And I'm not being a smart A$$, it really is a solid rule of thumb. They were designed for PT cars so while someone with a 32 Ford or a 57 Cadillac might like them but they wouldn't look quite right on those cars but since you're building a PT car and you like the wheel, you won't have any regrets with any of the styles.

I know exactly what color it will be! I drew it up a while back and the rendering will post with the member/vehicle/intrro when it gets closer to paint but it's going to be green and silver.

And, Yes Tim/Widowmaker, I'll be at Cruisin For a Cure. Hope to see you there and have you car in our booth there next year!
