Anyone think it would be worthwhile to try 225/70R15 V-spec Eagle RS-A tires on my snowflakes or is it futile to stick with the stock wheels? I'm looking for good street-only handling.

A quick check on the Goodyear website only shows the RS-A tire available in a 195 for 15" wheels. Hardly a worthy tire for a cool 2nd gen on snowflakes. Try a search on tires over on TransAmCountry.com for recommendations on rubber for your snowflakes. There's a bunch of 2nd gen guys there running 15" wheels.

I'm thinking these guys here:

I'll give TransAmCountry.com a look.

Completely futile IMO. look at Year One's big diameter snowflake wheels if you really love the snowflakes for a nice update. If you aren't married to the snowflake, then the sky's the limit but you won't find many guys here trying to stay stock.

I went from 225/70-15s BFG Radial T/As on 7" Honeycombs to 255/60-15s Radial T/As on the same wheels, and the difference in handling is amazing:drive1: . This is on a 74 T/A.

My opinion, unless you are shooting for stock look/feel, don't bother with the 225/70s  .
