Hi Guys, New to the forum but I've used a lot of your wisdom already - and the 25% discount code for Hotchkis five minutes ago - DOH!
I'd been longing for a muscle car for a while and decided on a Nova after seeing my buddy Pete's pristine '72 - I was looking for a '69 because that was my year but I found a '70 and couldn't pass it up. Originally I wanted a primer driver but I have no regrets about buying this one. Its far from finished and far from perfect but I am enjoying finding out all about it and trying to do most of the work myself.
Weiand 177 on a 350 Small Block, Demon Race RS, Muncie M20, GM 10-bolt -no posi yet ;( . Spaghetti Eng LED tails and parking lamps, TA Diff Cover and ARP stud kit, H4 conversion. Not sure on a lot of the spec due to lack of history but so far the motor seems solid. Very happy with paint and body but the wiring needs attention - slowly but surely. Hotchkis suspension is coming soon.

Thanks for the comment guys - the car didn't come with low tension hood springs since its a fiberglass hood. A buddy said I should use something fancy for a prop rod instead of a 2x4 so I made one out of a crutch I had laying around for fun. Now I have low tension hood springs!
Chevelle's were too much money for me and Camaro's are everywhere.

Front is 225/40/18
Rear is 255/35/20
Not sure on exact wheel specs since they were on there when I bought the car. Coys Wheels - fairly inexpensive considering.

Negative on the tubbed - I wish! I think the tire widths are fairly conservative and there's room for more in the back without moving the shocks - I've heard on this forum that 275 on the rear is possible. It doesn't sit real low right now so the rears aren't tucked in the fenders but I can't see the top of the tire - I see all the wheel though. Hotchkis leaf springs on the way - I hope it doesn't drop too much because I really like the stance now - maybe my old springs have enough sag in them now that it will be the same after I install.
Thanks for your comments..

The ride height is stock - but Hotchkis is sitting in boxes - I don't want to drop the rear too much - I actually don't like the slammed look too much - it depends on the overall picture- some look good and some don't. If it comes down an inch or so I'll be ok with that.
The interior is pretty much stock - new headliner and door panels. V-Gate Hurst Shifter. '74 Camaro buckets. I'll try and get some shots.
