Anyone else get their wheels yet from Rushforth? It is currently on 6 weeks and after phone calls and pm's to PRRC and Rushforth I have not heard back from anyone? So much for the 4 week delivery time....
Mark
Mark,
We have not recieved any P/Ms from you nor do we have a message on our answering machine. We had been out on vacation last week if you had called our answering machine had that message. I had talked to Jon yesterday and he said he had talked to you and gave you a delivery date. There were around 12 orders that went in the same time. My understanding is your wheels will ship this week. Still a great delivery time right at 4-5 weeks.

my pm's and calls are always answered. maybe you have sausage fingers like me and are hitting too many buttons. :)
btw. i really hope for your sake that you are correct and didnt have a delivery date. i do know that jon takes pride in his quality. i would rather wait a couple of weeks for him to make something right, rather than get something on time that isnt perfect.

had to do a little digging since things like this always interest me.
So much for the 4 week delivery time....
just found this in another post.......
Just called to see the exact ship date and they said that they have them all cut and ready to weld up. I had them STOP for two days so I can CHANGE THE BACKSPACING for anyone who needs a specific backspacing for these wheels!!
im not trying to bash you mark, but your post sounded a little hostile. it sounds like you may have played a part in the 5 week time.

Actually at the time I was trying to sell them since a deal fell through on my end, so I called them and asked in what stage they were in. They said that they had not welded up the hoops yet so I asked them to hold off for a day or two so I could see if someone here wanted them. After a day I called them back and told them to go forward with the original plan since I had another project they could be used on. At that time( approx 2 weeks ago)PRRC told me they would ship that week. Got worried for a while since I called and PM'D PRRC and got no response. They said they did not get it but I know what I sent. SO I called Jason Rushforth myself to see what was up? He called me back right away and told me that they are shipping on Monday(now thats customer service!!) Jon at Drivers inc has always been helpful as well.... I know PRRC was on vacation but when you put this kind of order together you should have another person to cover for you while you are away. Either way, I think in the future I will skip the middle man and go straight to the source. All in all the wheels will be shipped on Monday.
The point is I dont mind the 5 weeks... just dont like being told that they are going to ship in a week and then find out that it is more like 2-3 weeks later. And again I am not blaming RUSHFORTH. Jason told me himself that going on vacation when orders were due from a group purchase with no one to call people back was a poor decision on PRRC's part.
Mark
The orders were in long before we left the shop for vacation, So now its our fault? Sorry you feel that way. Your wheels were ordered then put on hold by you direct with Jason, And then then you complain about delivery time. We are not the middle man as you had stated we deal direct with Jon( Driverz inc) And Jason Rushforth. All in all I think your upset that you wanted to cancel your order after you had made the purchase because you sold your car, We followed up with you long before we went on vacation. I'm not sure why we have become the Bad guy in this purchase. I think we have done our part as promissed. The 4/5 week delivery is out of our control.
Tim
I dont want this situation to get out of control but I have to respond here. We were on vacation but I was in town and checked our email and calls regularly. Mark, there were no emails or calls from you or I would have returned them. Neither Tim nor I are perfect but I can't stand by and not defend ourselves when the truth is not being told. You went around us to stop your wheels so we had no idea you were doing this. So obviously we had placed your order and were waiting like you. Rushforth wheels are an excellant product and we are proud to represent them. I dont believe that trading negative messages on here is positive or professional so if you have any questions or concerns, please call us here at the shop.
Sincerely,
Jim Moss
Alright, let's agree this got out of propotion and all shake hands. You can read around these boards and find more than few guys who wish they had their wheels in 5 or 6 weeks without even pausing the order mid-way. I wish Tim and Jim were in town to answer every call last week but they weren't and the wheels are done.
Tim and Jim at PRRC are great guys and have a great reputation or they wouldn't be dealers for us and a lot of other companies.
They will ship today and we will email you a tracking number by the end of the business day.

So lets get things staight here. You put a hold on the wheels and now your pissed cause you got moved to the back of the line. Plus you want the guys at PRRC to sit around and cancel a vacation just to sort out your order. You have to be kidding with this right?

Mark,
Here is your UPS Tracking number, your wheels left today.

All of Tim's orders have either shipped this week, are shipping today, or will be by mid next week. Even the widened 19x12 orders. I think we're doing pretty darn good turning these things around in an amazingly short amount of time all things considered. In a time when others on this board are waiting 12-18 weeks, and we're turning them out in a 1/3 if that time, I think you can tell we at Rushforth Wheels are working VERY hard for you, our customers.
Tim at PRRC and the whole PRRC crew are some stand up awesome guys to deal with, and we back their program 100%. I would not hesitate to refer many a sale directly to them, because we know that our customer's are in good hands.
Mark, I would hope that from reading this post, you can see that we are working very hard to supply a quality product in much less time than many others. Yours is a special situation where your order was put on pause, briefly, by you, and then put right back into the mix, and that small hick-up only delayed your order by a matter of 4-5 days. I sincerely hope you agree, that we have done another amazing job, as well as PRRC to provide you with your wheels, as well as the best customer service we could. Thanks again for your order, and enjoy your new wheels.

Mark the service that is provided by PRRC and Drivez is by far superior to other wheel manufactures out there. I do know that the customer is not always right and given the circumstances above they have once again proven they will do what ever it takes to make the customer happy even when the customer does not know that they want.
Keep up the good work.:6gears:

I will totally agree w/Mrquick. Tim and Jim from PRRC are great, stand up guys. I was so concerened with ordering my wheels and making the wrong back space choice, that Tim offered me the wheels he had on his own car he is building @ his shop in Indianapolis In, to take back to my house 2 1/2 hours away to check them on my car. That is true customer service! I am sorry you feel this way, but there guys go WAAAY over on Cutomer service in my opinion.
Tim, Good luck with the new business venture!

I have been known to bitch and moan about delays but 2 weeks on big purchases such as wheels and paint etc is nothing. When you enter into that 60,90,120 day delay then it's time to start a pissing match.

OK Lets end this right here..... For all of you that chimed in, before you open your big mouths READ THE ENTIRE POST. Dont just read a few and then chime in. If you read it you would have seen that I am not upset about the 5 week time, I am not blaming Jason at Rushforth. I put the wheels on hold for ONE DAY, Not a week, not indefinately, ONE DAY. I then called back and said that I would take them as originally planned. I was told that they would ship that same week. When they did not arrive after about a week and a half I got concerned(sorry but when you spend alot of money you tend to get worried) So I PM'D and called with no response.. (again call me crazy but when you get no response you tend to get worried)
KEEP READING PEOPLE so you can get the whole story. So I called Jason at Rushforth who called me back immediately and told me that they would ship Monday. GREAT NEWS!! 5,6 OR 8 WEEKS is not along time to wait for rims.. I AGREE!! BUT usually you are in contact with people during that time. The fact that no one PM'D me back or called me back (AND YES I REALIZE you were on vacation for a week but I still called two days after your recorded day or return) bothers me. Hey I have been in customer service for years and I know what a pain in the butt customers can be. But I find it funny that it took me posting on this site to get any response from PRRC... Starting to see why CAMAROBOY left this site!!

dude... you made a post about the wait time.. which was 6 weeks..
do we REALLY need to read it all?... alot of us have experience with them..
do you like your women able to suplex you?

hahahah
thats a cheerup.
Mark,
We had talked to you several times and never have we not responded to you. If you called you never left a message. And I have looked at our P/Ms nothing in there either. We had several messages left for us and you were not on any of them? Again you seem to want to call us out and name call and so forth. We are just a phone call away for you or any of our customers. You did place your order from us and feel we are resposable for a small delay, A very small delay. Thats fine. But I stand behind our customer service to you or anyone of our customers. If you feel this strongly about your dealings with us( Paradise Road Rod & Custom) Jon from Driverz inc or Jason Rushforth We are all close friends and try to network together as much as we can. So with that said I appolgize for any ill feelings you have for any of us. I hope you enjoy your new wheels as they are on the way to you as Jon posted the UPS tracking #. Thanks for your purchase.

toofun, thanks for the PM! Classic bro. You told me! I have nothing but respect for the vendors on here that help all of us out and in return have to deal with tools like yourself. There is always "one" out there, and guess what bro, its you.

Dude,
6 weeks??? You would have really been p*ssed if you would have ordered from US Wheel!!!
Not only at the time did it take a long while, but thier customer service skills sucked!!!
Seem liked nothing but lies and excuses!!
Something it appears to me these 3, don't mess with.
Guys like Frank @ Prodigy went out of his way to fix it for me, and seems to me like PRRC, DRIVERZ INC, And Mr. Rushforth, are doing the same for you.
Accept it and move on. And enjoy your wheels or sell 'em.

Just a question for the guys in the middle here. As resellers do you follow up and provide a status to you customers weekly or Bi-weekly?
Its pretty clear to me that most wheel orders are usually allot of Money, take a while to fill and more then likley require a big deposit or full payment.
Maybe we can squash these things before they happen by providing updates on a schedule as above. This way the guys who are actually making these products don't suffer and consumers like me don't get it twisted.
Resellers ow this to both the manufaturer and the consumer

toofun - posting an issue with being able to contact someone and asking for help is one thing, but making a stab is another.
this is asking a question;
Anyone else get their wheels yet from Rushforth? It is currently on 6 weeks and after phone calls and pm's to PRRC and Rushforth I have not heard back from anyone?
this is a stab;
So much for the 4 week delivery time....
theres a big difference and the sole reason so many of us are defending a great group of guys.

One thing I have learned is that MOST times the good/reliable shops and dealers are always busy. Because a ton of people trust them with their "grands of $$", so as hard as they try business happens and occasionally customers are on the short end of the deal. What keeps these shops on top is their customer service, NOT the product. There are a ton of wheels companies out there, but seeing how these guys have dealt with this situation and the numerous happy members reassures me that these are guys I will NOT hesitate to deal with, if and when the time comes.
And the idea of the customer is always right is way out dated. In an age of voice mail, texts, cell phones, email, and any other methods to track communication between people, it's very easy to prove that the customer is wrong, when they to have "tried with no response" to contact someone.
I am willing to bet that if a member here is finding 6 weeks too long to wait, then they have only bought wheels from these guys, or not at all. Because I would reason to guess most of us have waited alot longer.
While it's incredibly flattering that so many of our clients would jump to our defense, let's put an end to this before feelings are hurt and relationships are severed.
We try really hard and it shows by so many of our clients becoming our close friends and that's one of my favorite things about this; friends.
Hell, I'm even friends with guys at other wheel companies and other designers I compete with directly and I definitely want to be friends with all our clients so let's pretend those wheels are building a bridge from California to Mark in Massachussetts as they go cross country in a brown truck and use it as a metaphor.
Mark, Tim, Jim, Jon and I are cool. Everybody else get on that bridge behind the brown truck with us.

When Mark gets his rims he will be more than satisfied with the product. Sorry he had a delay issue.
Maybe you guys should start estimating higher and deliver earlier. Under promise and over deliver works for everyone.
Love my rims Jason.....pm coming your way....

Wrong.....sometimes a customer/client needs put in there place. You can't please everyone. Some are life long clients and some you can't wait to get out of our life.

Jason, Jon, and PRRC... thank you for clearing this issue up. Got a couple of comments for the rest of you.
MR VENGENCE.. That "cut your heart out" comment was NOT TRUE. This is a classic example of what Im talking about when people add or mis understand something.
XLEXUSTECH... You are spot on with what I am talking about. It was not the 6 weeks it was the fact that I got no update.
Vegas69... Although you may feel that the customer needs to be put in their place, you obviously do not own your own business, if you do you will never last too long or make any real money with that attitude. Perfect example is the way these guys are handling this issue. PRRC, JON, AND JASON are all handling this VERY PROFESSIONALY and for that I am grateful. This issue has worked itself out and as Jason has said, all is cool with us.
