just looking to start a discussion, w/ this car, would you be more prone to fix it to have a nice Z06, or would you see it as an opportunity to build a hot pro-tourer? (yes, I do realize what forum I am on, but I'm sure many of us appreciate corvettes as is, not just for donating parts).

Were it me who bought it, I'd take it to a frame shop and have them check the chassis -- if it's straight or easily straightened, then I'd fix it... otherwise, it's a parts car.

Might be just me though.

Vettes have a complicated floor and rail system in those years. That isn't a pull it and straighten it deal. There is about $12k in damages in that car without opening it up. Look at prices of non damaged cars. Unless you have a shop stay away.

Repairables always look like great deals but rarely are. Used car lot quick poor repairs and flip for profit.

That side of the chassis would not be easy to fix and you still have a Salvage title car!
