front tire size for nova

i am going with a 315/35/17 tire on the back and wanted a 245 tire for the front and was not sure if it should be a 245/45/17 or a 245/40/17 i don't want the front being taller than the back

The 245/45R17 is going to be the same height as the 315/35R17 tire at 25.7". The 245/40R17 is an inch shorter. Wheel widths will have some effect on the tire diameters once mounted, so keep that in mind if you're pushing the limits one way or the other.
