The Netherlands that is. If the guys from Driverzinc, http://www.driverzinc.com/ , say they deliver in 4 weeks door to door they do, even international. To be exact 3 weeks and 5 days.
I was just blown away with the overall quality and design, very sweet! Service is also top level.
The rims are 18x8 and 18x9, tires will be 245/40 and 275/40

The car:

The rim

And of course the money shot, euro style

Which will finance the tires tomorrow.
thanks again Jon!!

Wow, very nice, those will look great on your Bird!!!! You must have gotten a great deal, considering how much the dollar SUCKS right now vs. the Euro! I'm looking at your 500 Euro bill and thinking, "Damn, that's almost $800 here!"

Thanks Steve,

I remember the times it was the other way around back in the 80's. Don't forget shipping is killing is nowadays and on top of that we got a very bad tax environment overhere. But hey, a man needs a hobby right LOL.
The 500 should cover for the tires ( I hope ).

Thats what I am talking about!
Now it is called a real pro-touring ride.
Too many TTII's in the world. Rushforth makes a difference.

Cliff, you have to come down about 2 inches though. u just have to put some boards in your garage to get out :)
Just throw them in the car when you go for a spin in case you run into a speed bump :twothumbs

You guys are killing me! Worked late last night and dropped the rear 1". Will order new coil springs for the front coil overs with a lower spring rate and drop the front :smoke: .

No Cliff, just one more inch.

I make sure to have at least 4 buddies as passengers to drop it when going for a ride LOL.
The bird got some more ground clearance because of the tire/rim combo; Front got like 3/4 and in the back 2" more clearance. When dropped it will have approx. the same clearance as with the TTII but with a nicer stance.

Wood for the "drempels"?

Rob,

The Bird is garaged under street level under our condo. The angle is very steep and can't lower the car too much otherwise I will find some spare parts on the driveway :scared:

Oh yes, I see you live in A'dam. I would normally drive to the train station near Muiden and train in. It was easier than finding a parking space/parking garage.

Did you make it to the Cruise Brothers? I checked the sites but did not see any pictures of your car.

If I move back to Nederland I will seriously consider an air ride suspension so I won't have to worry about drempels and the like.

Wheels are very nice, good to hear from someone way out there, the car looks great! JayR gave me a tip on wheel choice for my Falcon which was very much appreciated so they are a great company all around.

Haha you know the drill Rob! I made it to the CB last Saturday but not with the Bird. It started raining at 4.30pm and stopped somewhere next day. Been there for 1.5 hrs. I've seen no pictures yet either.

Thanks Andrew! And yes Driverzinc is a great company all around!!

Changed the coils on the coil overs, from a 450 rate to 350 rate. the 450's were far too hard after weight saving on the front end. The back was dropped another inch and lowered the front as much as possible. The lowest points on the Bird are the headers (3" ground clearance) and the slide-a-links. Much lower is a no go and there is hardly any gas in the tank :). Some pics:
