Can a T56 be bolted up to an LQ4 6.0L? I assume it can since the aluminum blocks and these cast iron blocks are pretty much the same. I'm looking at getting a complete LQ4 with ECM, wiring, accessories, etc. Can the stock ECM be reprogrammed to accept a T56, and can the wiring harness be modified as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone is doing/has done this particular swap, I would like to discuss it you if possible.

thanks,
Chris

Yes, to both your questions. I can not remember off the top of my head if you can simply unbolt the flex plate and bolt a flywheel on. I remember there being talk of a spacer for the 6.0s that were in front of the 4L80E. Sorry, I just don't remember. The ECM is the same for manual or autos, you just have to have it programmed accordingly.
