The main guy from trueforged posts alot on svtperformance.com. He gives out good deals and seems to respond well to e mails and questions.

Try Rushforth wheels, I was surprised by their prices compared to Forgeline. Best wheel for the buck by far....

I feel your pain I'am 23 but i still live at home. So building the car and saving for a house is possible. just hope they dont kick me out LOL. if you are going with stock tubs on the rear keep your eye on the FOR SALE sections on all the forum as they sell 1st gen sizes often. good luck and if i see some i will let you know

Iam not sure what the cost is so might still be some $ after the 18% and free shipping but anything helps, but found this over at ls1tech.com and thought that it might help http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=957460

We can clear C6 Z06 brakes with our 18" wheels and I can at your budget with most of our wheels. If there's a style you like let me know.

Im looking for a racey looking wheel. nothing too shiny. Those DPE's are looking pretty cool. if they are under 2 grand id be sold.

Most all billet wheels can be powdercoated if you're looking to avoid the shiny look.

Right now im diggin the intro classic and the dpe's. Do the intros come in an 18x11?

Yes and no. We can do an 11" rim but it's $$$$. In the Intro Classics we can do an 18x8 and an 18x9.5 and the price on those is $1495. The wheels in the Endless Series have the stepped lip rim hoop.

is it just me or do some of the Trueforged designs look identical to I.D. Luxury wheels ?

I'm pretty sure that I.D., Intro & Trueforged are all the same company. There is a wheel on the TF site that is exactly the same as an Intro wheel, the cap is even photoshopped.

I bought BMW wheels off ebay and made spacers. I got wheels, tires, and spacers for under $1000.
Just a thought.
