AFX spindle, 13" brakes and 16" wheels?
Can anyone tell me if 16" wheels will fit over the 13" C5 brakes that I want to bolt up to my A-body? I prefer the look/stance I can get with the 16" wheels over the 17" wheels.

1985 Peugeot Turbo 4cyl. w/5 speed (in a garage for a while now)
1991 Camaro Conv. (For sale)
2003 Saturn L200 5 Speed
I got one from the last 4 decades....not too shabby!

I have the same set up with an 18" wheel. From the wheel to the top of the caliper there is about 1 1/2" gap (on the front). 17 might work but I think it would be a really tight fit.Curtis
07-20-2008 #3From my research even many 17" won't fit. You need a 2-piece or 3-piece wheel with at least a 1" pad to clear the 13" C5 brakes.
If you find any let me know, I'm still looking ;)

I think that was an SSBC kit that was made to fit smaller wheels.
I wanted to go 13" C5 but they wouldn't fit the 17" wheels I already purchased.1967 Firebird Convert, Fuel Injected 462 ci, TKO 600
