OK SHOOT ME BUT... Best size for TTII's

On a 69 camaro with stock suspension and stock 12 bolt rear end. What is the max size front and back I can go with 17's all around or with 18's all around backspacing for both scenarios would be appreciated as well as tire sizes.

17s - In the front 17x8 with 4.75 backspace an a 245/45 tire - in the rear 17x9.5 with 5.5 backspace with a 275/40 tire.
18s - In the front 18x8 with 4.75 backspace an a 245/40 tire - in the rear is the problem 18s only come in 10 wide so you're looking at a 5.75 backspace an a 275/40 or 275/35 tire but you will have to make this combo fit. You may have to roll the fender lips or pound in the inner wheel well or both and still have some rubbing. This depends on the car - if it's original sheet metal - the ride height - disc brake converstion - and on and on. As I'm sure you have read all these cars are a little different and therefore there is no guarantee what fits one will fit another. Rybar has them on his car so check it out. Good luck.
