      18 x 10 6.5 BS on 67 Chevelle

      Hi Guys,

Will a 18 X 10" wheel with a 6.5" Backspace fit the rear of a 67 Chevelle without any modifications? I've searched the board but could not find a concrete answer.

      Thank you

That's a little too much backspace for a stock width rear.
Backspace for a 10" wheel should be 5.5" to 5.75".
Check out this link. There are a few '67's with 10" rears listed.

Have you tried doing some measuring on the car?

Here's what I got when measuring my '66.

      Frame to quarter: 12.5"
Wheel mounting surface to frame: 6"
Wheel mounting surface to quarter: 6.5"

      There is a 67 on our site with 315 / 35 / 17 on 17 X 10 with 6" BS, fit perfect.
