I took some vidoe flying through some twisties and need some dvise on programs that will compress it so I can post it. It is on digital vidoe tape so the file sizes are realy big. if there is a better way to transfer it from teh tape to teh computer other than hitting play and having transfer one second at a time please inform me. the camera is a JVC dvl920u.

Sorry I didn't call you yet. What capture software do you use?

Go to wal-Mart and get a Dazzle video converter. They are cheap and work pretty good. It will come with programs to convert and compress you can use them or check out Vegas video.

You can also use the free Windows Media Encoder... go to Microsoft.com to download it. It will capture and compress into windows media files or streams, and it's FREE!
