Heh,back to the tech. Strictly speaking they aren`t tie rod ends, they`re heims. They`re fine for adjusting bumpsteer or occasional use cars but don`t expect them to last like real greasable tie rod ends. You can have the best of both worlds with our modular tie rod ends. http://www.scandc.com/balljoints.htm They`re sealed and greasable but can be had either with different height studs or with a 5/8" threaded stud and jam nut. The tall stud versions don`t require any mods except maybe longer tie rod sleeves. The threaded ones require drilling and tapping the steering arms but they`re the top choice for quick and easy bumpsteer adjustment with just 2 wrenches and no disassembly. Mark SC&C

I saw your screen name but you didn`t specify. A lot of guys on here have several cars or a screen name for a car they sold years ago. The `70 bumpsteer curve it pretty darn good already you shouldn`t need to change anything unless you run extreme + caster and the changes will be fairly small. The threaded stud tie rods would be a better choice anyway and they will work on a `70 (or darn near anything else) . I`d suggest checking the bumpsteer before you spend money on bumpsteer adj. tie rod ends. Mark SC&C
