Anybody know who deals in brake kits for off center stuff like an 89 F150 2wd? I am not opposed to changing lug patterns either. Just looking for a way to get some good brakes under this thing.

Man I'd look for a wrecked Lightning , the ones I've seen have some massive brakes.

Finally some interest, woohoo. We're a rare breed, my friend. Good luck.. let me know what you find out.

Supa cheapo method - F350 brakes, except for the whole 8-lug part. SRW would be better than DRW brakes. :firefire:

I've seen several 8 to 5-lug conversions done for Early Bronco applications running one-ton running gear, but it involves welding in holes and remachining rotors.

For a more bolt-on solution, I would think you could run adapters to make the pattern change and then select a higher-offset wheel to keep the track width the same by negating the thickness of the adapter.
