What column(s) can I use from newer cars? I'm looking to get telescoping/tilt, but I really want to get the high beam selector off the floor and onto the column. I also want select-a-speed wipers. And on that subject, is it possible to get select-a-speed wipers working and still have windshield washers? I know DSE has a kit for select-a-speed but it says it gets rid of the washer capabilities.

Nobody? There's gotta be a way to do this. :hmm:

I'm going to be using a tilt column out of an '86 IROC. I have yet to get the late model gm wiper motor (select a speed, as well as a 4th gen fbody)to work on delay with the earlier switch. The high beam switch uses the same plug. The u bracket from the '86 had to be ditched for a '69 bracket and I had to clearance it where the pushrod for the highbeam switch is routed. As far as telescopic, the only cars I know of are '70's Cadillacs and C-3 Corvettes.

Nice, I'll have to look at IROC columns, then. Telescoping isn't a necessity, it's just that I usually move the seat forward so it feels more comfortable to drive, and if I could just move the steering wheel it'd be easier. Oh well.

I'm in the process of doing so -- but on an A body, not an F body.

and how is it coming? i am curious if it is worth the effort?

i have a 95 camaro donor car, and i was going to swap the entire wiring harness (the entire car harness). and i was thinking about even using the dash, console, steering colum, wiper motor, a/c hvac controls, basically swapping everything over. but i am having second thoughts about doing the dash. i kinda want the interior to look like a 67 camaro.
