In case anyone is interested, I installed this on my car the other day with my 3" dropped springs....nice product. I'm glad I won't have to weld on new spring perches.

Trapin is this a necessity when going from mono to leafs? My 67 has 30 year old mono's I intend to swap out for the 3" drops. TIA (Thanks in advance)

not having spacers really puts a strain on the u bolts, i've worn out a couple before running spacers.

Happy, it would probably be a good idea. Detroit Speed and Engineering sells this conversion kit that requires no welding for $75.
Part #041101
It comes with 4 U-Bolts, 2 .5" spacers with holes in them for the leaf springs (because the mono mounts don't have recessed hole for the bolt on the multi-leafs), 4 aluminum spacers for each side of the U-Bolts, and all the nuts and washers. Very easy to install.

:hmm: This may be a stupid question but i'm good at askin those! What is the advantage of running the multi leafs vs. the mono leafs?? :hmm:

The reason I'm getting the multi's is the 3" drop. Couldn't find a de-arched mono. I would imagine that the multi's decrease(but don't eliminate) wheel-hop. I'll check to the powers with more knowledge.
