I have a 68 camaro that I am building flat mini tubs for, my first question is since I am not tubbing as far as the dse tubs go, I am only going to the frame rails will the dse shock crossmember be long enough, does any one have the length? Also where should my upper shock mount be, I am planning on using the stock multileaf lower mount. Will I have to get shorter shocks since Im going inboard? I will be running dse 3 inch drop leafs. What shocks do you guys recomend ?
I am open to any suggestions involving mounting, packaging and locations of shock mounts?
THANKS A LOT

Hey there, the DSE shock mount should be long enough...I can't remember the exact measurement but I think its 60" long. DSE recommends that the shock be installed at 16". You can stay stock length just make sure you position the upper mount right, theres 3" of adjustability.
You can also cut out the old shock mounts and make an inboard shock box for them.

Its 48 inches long, 3 inches up- 6 inches across the top- 5 inches back down. 1/8 inch thickness

Does anyone have any imput on exactly where the upper mount should be if I use the stock lower shock plates? Also what shocks are some of you guys running with a similar setup as this? adjustability is not a must Im just looking for a good set of handling shocks that still have good road manners. Any pics would help a lot.
THANKS
