Well, I finally moved into the 21st century and bought my first LSx car. It's a '99 Corvette FRC with 8,000 original miles. It has a 404cid LQ4 6.0L iron shortblock built by Wheel to Wheel Powertrain, 6.0L heads ported by TEA, and a Procharger F1R supercharger. The interior has a custom 6-pt. cage also by Wheel to Wheel. I've been looking for a nice C5 for awhile now and this one I just had to have.

I'd love to see some dyno numbers from that setup! Looks like a blast to drive! Congrats on finding your car.

That has to be about insane to drive.
The roads were a bit damp during the test drive so I couldn't really get after it yet. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can drive it some more. The previous owner said it lights up the drag radials in 3rd gear just rolling into the throttle.

Thanks! The prior owner had it on a Mustang Chassis Dyno and it made 646 rwhp. I plan to put it on a local dyno as soon as I can.

That's awesome Neil. I absolutely LOVE C5's. I think they look better than the C6...sorry, my opinion and I'm holding onto it.
One day when the Camaro is done and I've paid off some debt I'm going to go looking for a black 2001. Fixed roof or regular roof doesn't matter...I love em both.
I have a couple questions for you though. What cam is in that car and did anything need to happen with the front suspension to facilitate the cast iron block? I'm just thinking about the weight difference.

The cam is a custom grind from Cam Motion - 231/239 duration .591/.612 lift. The front suspension is stock except that it has been lowered on stock bolts.

The exterior color is Pewter. Looks just like a glass of Champagne.
Man I'd love to hear an audio clip from that!! :)

Man I have been looking for LS camaro's and keep running in to killer Corvettes like tours. I would love to have a Corvette but with me, the wife and our daughter I feel like I would just get left at home and they would take it!!!! HAHAHAHA
Nice car!!!

Ok, twist my arm. This is killing me because I won't be able to register the car and really drive it until next week. Here's a little taste...
