Hey guys. I'm working on a s10 blazer, two wheel drive. Like many of you know, the front end on these trucks are the same as the g-body's. Based on this I've been looking at front brake kits. I was originaly going to do some junk yard swaps, but that is to much messing around, and with some of the machining needed to complete some swaps, I would be hooped come brake service time. I was then looking at just a rotor upgrade, which is cool, but all I could find is stock diameter. Then I thought, well just upgrade to a better caliper. Well thats groovy to, but there is only so much a caliper can do on a tiny rotor. Now I'm looking at kits. The most affordable kit I found is the willwood dynalite pro hub kit. I'll save you the whole breakdown on this kit, but it's basicly a .25" increase in diameter (over the stock 10.5") and a 4 piston equal bore calliper (1.75"). I like the seperate hub idea. Less hassle than machining the factory disc hub combo into a hub and mounting C5 brakes. This kit also works out well because I'm using a ford 8.8 rear end from the wreckers, which has a 5 X 4.5" bp compared to the 5 X 4.75" bp on the factory hub. The kit comes drilled with both of these bolt patterns.

After all that my question is: has anybody used this kit before? What did you like or didn't like? For the rest of you guys, can you maybe suggest a different aproach? Is there another option comparable to the price of the willwood kit (roughly $700 usd list price)?

Thanks for any imput. Cheers bbcc
