I am going to fab up a sheetmental plenum for my holley Stealth Ram intake, I was wondering what grade aluminum, it plan on using .90" thick sheet with 1/4" mounting flanges. It needs to be weldable and bendable

thanks

Did you mean 0.090" thick?

The company above has a cold air intake for the Holley Stealth Ram. I don't like all the "connecting" elbows, but having a flexible joint between the throttle body and the intake tube might be a good idea.

I work in the aerospace industry and 6061 aluminum seems to be the norm for a lot of applications. The temper will determine how stiff or soft the material will be. Check out the link below. Hope the info helps.

I am making the plenum, i already did the cold air intake.

.090" thick, sorry. It is a box that sits on top of a tunnel ram style intake. i want to increase volume and give it that "fab" look

Got it!

I thought the intake manifold and plenum were included together?

If you want to go with a custom fab look, you should check out Hogans for some ideas. They have some trick stuff!
