Fox Body wheel fitments

Without joining another forum I thought I would ask here what size wheels and tires you can STUFF under an 84 Fox Body, Front and Rear width and backspace. I'm thinking 17"s maybe 18"s. I will be changing to 5x4 1/2" bolt circle. Thanks Robert

This site doesn't directly address the tire size issue, but it does speak about the different options for switching to five lug and the implications for each. I used this information when switching mine over. One of the limiting factors in the rear is whether or not you are running the quad shocks. Up front, it depends on how you switch it to five lug - ie: SN95 spindles (94-95 or 96+) or Lincoln rotors. The rear depends on the axle choice.
