Hey guys, got a wiring diagram from the local dealer for my TCC wiring on my 4L60. The tranny guy wasn't there that day, but they let me look at the wiring diagram and take the photocopy. No one there would commit to agreeing with me as to where to run my powers and grounds.

To me it looks like the Purple (420) should be battery positive (12V) (from the vacuum switch?), the tan w/blk (422) would be a ground, and the light blue would not be used? Anyone agree, disagree, or have better input? Thanks!

it is a simple circuit- you need + power from the ignition switch, thru the brake light switch and (if you have one) vacuum switch, and into the + side of the solenoid. then, you put the 4th gear pressure switch to the - side of the solenoid (jump 2 terminals on the plug together) so that it grounds out the solenoid when it shifts into 4th gear.
this way, the tc will only lock up if it's in 4th gear, engine vacuum is high (if you have the vacuum switch), and the brake lights aren't on.
i don't know the wire colors- i just screw around with stuff until it works, and i did my Monte 3 years ago. i used a GM kit- which, oddly enough, comes with the wrong pressure switch. it says so right in the instructions. but it works with the stock 4th gear pressure switch from my 92 Caprice. i still need to add the vacuum switch so it doesn't lug the engine so bad on hills and what not.
