I'm gauging interest to see how much interest there is in custom 2-piece forged wheels. I realize the current trend is trying to stuff huge blingtastic rollers under your classic car, but for most performance minded guys the 17" wheels are still the standard choice.
I'm working on a deal for the following:
iForged Formula Series (http://iforged.com/us/wheels_category.php?CatID=1) (Any style)
17x8 fronts
17x10 rears
These are the only widths available.
Backspacing built to your custom order
Fully polished or powdercoated silver or black
Available with or without rivets
$1850 plus shipping. Add $300 if you want brushed/cleared centers.
Here is how the "Aero" looked in 17x8 and 17x10 on my Camaro. It had 245 wide front tires and 275 wide rears. No minitubs required.

Those look really good. Price seems right too. The Classic would look great in black.

This lurker is interested. :naughty:
This is like half of usual retail price, no? How much do these tend to weigh? This could solve my 17 vs 18 dilemma...
EDIT - Seems maybe i'm confusing 2-piece and 3-piece pricing, but this is still a good deal.

I'm very intersted in the Classic but I am at least 6 months away from being ready to measure for wheels. Is this going to be an ongoing offer?

This would be a special price for a month. Maybe in 6 months there will be other sales?
trbogln, these are 2-piece wheels. So yes, they cost less than 3-pc, but they also look identical and weight about the same. I haven't weighed a 17" wheel in a long time, but the 18x10s weighed 21 lbs each. Not bad at all.

Can't even go smaller in widths, huh?

Curious as well? I'm in need of a 9" width can't fit a 10" rim on my app. Can you do the hyper gunmetal for same price as the silver and black powdercoat?

Those are the only two widths they carry in 17", sorry.
nvrdun, the gunmetal is painted and costs more. About $300/set

those are badass looking. Out of my price range but do you know if the 17x10 will fit a second gen camaro without rubbing?

17x10 should fit fine on a 2nd gen, if you stick with a 275 wide tire and proper backspacing.

Those are some nice looking wheels, with a good price too.

would the price be the same for a set of 17x8's?

For all four 17x8s, subtract $35.

Quick question...what kind of wait time is it to get them?? Also during a search about IForged I found alot of unhappy customers. Mainly them building them with the wrong backspacing and them not fixing the issue. Is this an issue you have delt with recently or is that old news??? Thanks for any info!

6-8 weeks is typical for delivery. Every wheel company has their own past horror stories, I haven't had any experiences like that from anyone yet.

Have any pics of 69 Camaro's with any Iforged wheels besides yours? I think the Seneka's would look good in Gunmetal or Black. This is for one month from the first post, correct?

Seneka or Swift are great looking wheels. If you guys need help with suggestions, just post a few photos (or rendering) of your car, I'd be happy to make suggestions.
Pricing above is good until 5/10/08. Thanks

Taking it down to metal this week. Going to go with a dark color probably a Viper Gray I saw on one or silver. Want black wheels with polished lip. You think Seneka would look better or the Aero/Classic? Thanks.

Viper gray huh? The gunmetal iForged matches those nicely. I'd go with the Astra in 18s in gunmetal. Examples attached!

I didn't think I would like those Astra wheels but that does look freakin sweet!!! That may have made up my mind on both the wheels and paint. Now just have to figure out the backspacing......

I must admit that I got the color from your car, and it looks awesome!!! I saw it on Camaros.net and had been leaning towards a silver or some kind of dark gray. Once I saw yours, I think my mind is made up. Yes, I would love to see what the Astra's would look like so if you get a photoshop done, please post up. I can't decide between something like that or a mesh style wheel.
