We tried the ready-to-spray Eastwood Exrteme Chassis Black on the frame of our '65 Chevelle... the stuff is really easy to spray, and has an ideal satin black finish. Nice stuff. We'll see how durable it is, but it's epoxy, so it seems strong so far.

I would be curious to see how chip resistent it actually is. I like the satin color though.

Did anyone catch the last thing that was said in the video, new catalyst chassis paint.

Yeah... next week we're going to try their new catalyzed ceramic chassis paint. We'll keep you posted on that one, too.

How can it be epoxy if it doesnt have a catalyst?

Are you going to shoot the same frame?

The stuff we shot on the '65 Chevelle chassis in the video is billed as an epoxy, but it is ready to spray right out of the can. I'd imagine a catylist would speed curing / drying times, but it's sold as non-catylized epoxy.

We're going to shoot the catylized ceramic on a different frame - '66 GTO - later this week.
