Fix a hole in leather?

I have a hole in my leather seat thats about .25" around and the leather for the hole is gone. I bought the seats this way. The hole is in the back seat and the other seats are great. How can I try to patch a hole like this? If I can't make it look good then I'll either take it to a shop or buy a cover. But I'd like to try patching it if it can be done.
