Yep. They come with Type II pumps from the factory.

What accessory drive system are you using? You may have to bend the intake tube on the pump if you are using the C5 vette set up. Should not be an issues though if you are careful.

I have no idea what accesory drive im going with yet. Id like to go with whatever is cheapest. Im on a budget. As always.

truck is cheapest because it may not work. Fbody is next with the vette bracketry being the most expensive. The truck uses an pump and resevoir integrated design. The reservoir is mounted on top of the pump with the Fbody and the vette is remote

Hmm. Yeah im not sure which one yet. I have plenty of time to think about it while I save up for everything i need.

Are the trucks Type 2 (TC or CB) or P-pump? My 5.3 truck is P-pump, and fitting a Type 2 would be difficult.

Anyone have a link to diagrams or pictures of the truck acc. drive set up?
Same question for the different pump types? (sorry newbie to the swap game)

I need to figure out my drive system aswell. I am hoping to keep truck style. I've read its relatively easy to hook up to the old steering box, and I want to keep the truck water pump (my L92 has the VVT)

I just know the 4.8, 5.3, and the LQ truck motors used the P-pump as you call it Carl. This is the more traditional style with the pump actually submerged inside a reservoir. I have no idea about the Gen 4 truck motors.

i like the look of the f body one the best. Is this one do-able on a stock frame 68 camaro?

check the sticky at the top of this forum for known swap combos. I believe your answer may be there. If not, someone will chime in I am sure. I personally don't know.

Yes, it's one of the most popular.

I'm in the middle of one now.
