Im in the process of cleaning up and updating the interior of my 69 camaro. Started with some Por-15, then two layers of Fat Mat, and some new carpet and new Corbeau seats. Im almost done but it just doesnt look right with the cut pile carpet and microsuede seats and the original sill plates. Does anyone know if there is any made out of billet or look better than the stock pieces?

I am looking for the same thing right now. Classic industries lists a brushed aluminum and carbon fiber sill plate. They are both ABS though. I was thinking about powdercoating a set of stockers as well.

Powder coating them is what we have done,I havn't seen a good aftermarket billet sill plate for Camaros yet,They can also be covered in materials that match your interior for a different look, but you have to be very careful not to tear them up.

Covan's sells brushed alum & carbon fiber, probably what you are seeing at Classic Industries though...

I bought a set of repros from Classic Industries a while back. The fit is good but they are very thin so even if you don't cover them like Tracy suggested you have to be very careful not to mess them up. They probably fit well because they are so thin.

We need photos, and your car domain website doesn't work.
