Pro 5.0, Hurst Billet, B&M are the three most popular.

I am wondering the same thing....I thought that the center console would have to move back quite a bit. I am doing a LS1/T56 in my 68 with console/gages and would like to keep that stock look if at all possible.

Contact Street & Performance ( http://www.hotrodlane.cc/ ). I'm pretty sure they have a shifter relocation kit that moves the shifter up like 3" or so.
Don't know if there are other options...

Beware if you have a B&M. They've got a "lifetime warranty".. but if you don't have the receipt, you're SOL.
The plastic ball in my B&M shifter in my 98 crumbled, and they're not willing to do anything about it since I've got no receipt.

Tony, Do these companies offer shifters that have an offset to keep the factory 4 sp location?

So this is the only option? I assume it is but I thought maybe the others offered something as well.
Thanks

I felt one of these MGW Shifters in a Mustang with a T-56 and it was unbelieveable. I believe most T-56 tail housings have the same shifter bolt pattern in which case it should bolt on plus you can rotate the shifter 360 deg around. I've e-mailed them and they don't know if it will fit on a non-mustang T-56, but if you can match up the bolt patterns it should work and it feels awesome like I said. The owner of the Mustang it was in did A LOT of research and loves it too. Here's the link:
