      Suggest?

Ok, I am putting 18x9 on the rear and 17x8 on the front. What size tires do you recommend I use on this configuration? The car has NOT be lowered and has NOT been tubbed. Just stock suspension all the way around. It does have a big block so the front is a little lower than normal. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated... Thanks

      tire size

on the front I would go 245/45/17 and on the rear I would go 275/40/18 or 275/35/18. The 40 series on the 18 inch rim in the back would make the tire almost 27 inches tall and the 35 series would make it 26. A little better traction with the taller tire.

      Suggestion

I plan to run the same 245/45/17 on the front of my 72 Formula
with a 285/40/18 on the rear. FYI... the 245/45/17f and 275/40/18r
was factory stock on the C5 Corvettes.
