How much sheetmetal can you remove at one time in a reskin? I have already installed a dynacorn one peace floor and started working on quarters. I will be replacing rockers full quarters tail pan outer wheel house dse mini-tub and section below back window. Cross braces are in place and car is level and square. It seems to me that it would be easyer to remove all affected sheet metal and then replace. Would there be structural issues? Has anybody stripped an outer shell and replaced it without problems?:help!:

If the body is properly braced you can remove about everything.

Check out the projects page he's doing a 69 for a member here. You may be able to get some different ideas for bracing there.http://mikescustomcars.com/

Thank Mikey, looking at pictures of what some people start with makes me feel better about the condition of my own. Lots of help.
