hi all,
learning is a life-long process.
the last two days i learned many cool and good stuff from Markus from SC&C.
thanks Markus:1st:
i´m learning, lowering is not a simply thing and many factors must be respected.
now i´m very curious, what other people do.
please post a pic from your ride´s front suspension when the car is on the ground.
i would like to see your angle from the lower a-arms.

Are you looking for G-body pics? Or any car?

Right. Marcus has likely pointed out that lowering a car out of the designed suspension sweet spot will have consequences, and that most of them are bad.
At right height, my control arms point down slightly from the body to the lower balljoint.

I recently lowered my A body. I guess you do not want to have the LBJ pivot point higher than the pivot at the frame, which causes the roll center to dive into the ground. I'll try to post a pic....but it's freezin' outside.

Don't know if it helps, but here's my geometry based on my Corvette C4 spindels.
It's not 100% finished yet, but it doesn't need much more adjustment.

Sketching in SolidWorks?
Yes, as long as you get the constraints right, SW's great for the job!

Am I reading this wrong, or do you mean that you only trust input from "the big guys"?
