Hello!

I want to install new wheel studs because of a brake conversion. Now I noticed that my new press fit studs have a bigger diameter of the "knurling". So it's not possible to press in without drilling. But what is the right bore size for a press fit?

The new studs have approx 13 mm (0,51 inch) od at the knurling.

Do you know what the stud part number is (Dorman for example would be 610-XXX)? That would allow us to look up a more accurate knurl diameter for the wheel stud in question. Typically .005"-.009" interference is sufficient for most wheel studs into steel.

Hello!

Part No is MOROSO 46160

I think I have to drill 0,552".....I found the parts on moroso homepage.

Do you agree with this size? I don't have any experience with press fit wheel studs.

Yes, a .552" ream [14mm] would be perfect for the 46160 Moroso studs.
