Hey I need to get the body off its frame so I can start fabricating stuff and as crazy as it sounds we dont have a lift at the shop (we do wiring so its not usually necessary to have one and a jack will work when we need to get under a car). So without a lift to raise the body off the chassis I thought that maybe a cherry picker could be used. If so is there any accesories like a bracket set or anything to do this? If you have any tips on getting the body in the air Id love to hear them cause this is something Im sure alot of home builders could find helpful for their own projects. Thanks again hope to hear some good tips!!
PS ITS A 64 CHEVELLE IF IT MAKES ANY DIFFERENCE
This is how I did it. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge.
I used the reinforced seatbelt holes

Fit the cherry picker thru the side window. (Note: My picker has adjustable boom height locations but a non-adjustable one should work too)

With one friend to help balance the body it comes right off the frame

I use three cherry pickers, and I know this might not be the way you want to go, but it might give you some ideas on how to improvise.
You can always sell them when your done and recover some of the costs. They work really nice if your working alone, you can pull and set the body any time you want to and do it gently.
There on my website, most of it is under.
