Hi Guys, was wondering what tires you guys suggest i go with?i was looking at either the BF Goodrich kdw 2`s but they do not make 285/35/18s so the next option was GoodYear F1`s?
Thanks

I was also going to with the BFGs, but like you, couldn't get the size I wanted and I ended up with the F1s.
I haven't driven the car yet, so no personal feedback, but I did quite a bit of research and the F1s get great reviews for performance street driving and some also said they were happy with them on a parking lot road course/track. The only negative I found was that they were not the best for launching at the dragstrip.

Yea man i dont understand why BFG just doesnt make that 285/35/18,they make it in 275 and 295 go figure:bsjerk: ,as for launching i dont any tires are good unless you got a street slick or slick but i guess the lowet the UTQG rating the softer the compound= stickier.

A 295 isn't that much wider anyway make it fit.

I think the 40`s are a taller tire than the 35`s thats why i havent looked into a 40.

Well what is it about 1/2" on each side between a 35 and 40 series tire?
Thanks

285/35/18 = 25.85" tall
285/40/18 = 26.97" tall
